I have the great honor to be the mayor of this beautiful and proud town, in the heart of Moldova.

If you are an Orhei dweller, then what we have in common is the love for our city. We are proud of its history, we keep on traditions, honor our ancestors and all those who have contributed to the city's development. Irrespective of nationality, religion, spoken language, social status, the Orhei dwellers have always been and remain a large, united family, dominated by respect, wisdom and mutual support.

If you come from other places, then I invite you to discover Orhei! You will feel its special charm everywhere: on green and quiet streets, with historic buildings and small cottages of hundreds of years, in old and beautiful churches, in the surrounding landscapes, as well as in hospitable and hardworking people.
